To celebrate Adult Learners Week Debbie Hyde, freelance career coach and producer & presenter of It's All Good Radio Show talks to individuals in Woking, Guildford and Epsom about how learning a new skill has helped them.

On Saturday 14th from 6pm – 7pm Debbie presents a programme featuring all the interviewees and is inviting listeners to share their stories of how learning has helped them.

Tuesday 17th June Dee Collins When her children left home, Dee found that there was no one there to help her to use the computer, she knew she need to learn computer skills and so enrolled on a basic computer course, tune in to hear how she got on and how she felt after completing the course.
Wednesday 18th June Nina Selfe Nina is an advisor for Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnerhship ETHOS project. Each week she sees people who are looking for work or wanting a career change and she helps them to identify their training needs and to build an action plan. Find out more in the interview including news of a parent who wanted to return to work and how learning a new skill really helped her.
Thursday 19th June The Guildford Bike Project provides opportunities for people who may have missed out on learning in the past to learn new skills and thereby to improve their employability and sense of wellbeing. In this interview we talk with Adam, Steve and Dave, each of who were in different circumstances before finding the Bike Project but have since discovered a sense of achievement and built friendships through getting involved in learning a new skill.
