A hugely successful Grand Opening of our new studios on 7th October 2009 has helped put Brooklands Radio on the map.

Joining us to celebrate were more than 80 guests, including the local mayors and other senior figures of the boroughs we serve, Elmbridge, Runnymede, Spelthorne and Woking, and representatives from Brooklands Museum, Glaxo Smith Kline, Procter & Gamble, the Sam Beare Hospice, St George’s College, Thamesmead School and many local businesses and voluntary bodies.

A recording of the Official Opening of Brooklands Radio's new studios in Weybridge. Brooklands Radio Chairman Alan Timbrell starts proceedings and introduces The Mayor of Elmbridge Cllr. James Vickers who cuts the ribbon to open the studios and is then interviewed on air about his choosen charities by Graham Laycock.
